DLV (decorative laminated veneer) is a proven technology, utilized for many years in the European kitchen and furniture market. Our DLV doors have been designed and tested to meet and exceed applicable industry performance standards such as KCMA.
• Our doors are made from custom machined E-1 MDF profiles which are wrapped with photo-realistic woodgrain and solid color foils. Foils are highly realistic, and modern wrapping techniques allow for interesting and creative door frames and accessory profiles. Finishing and glazing options complete the look.
• Unlike one-piece engineered door components, our DLV 5-piece system has true wood grain direction. Woodgrain direction always follows the perimeter, just like in real hardwood frame doors.
• Our doors are produced with fully concealed glued and hardwood doweled joinery. Joinery types offered include Miter, Shaker, and French joineries.
• DLV doors are typically priced below wood doors and compare favorably in price to one-piece thermofoil doors. We encourage our clients to consider our 5-piece DLV doors as a cost effective upgrade to one-piece engineered doors and as a realistic alternative to solid wood doors.
